Scout District Camping Competition 2012 - 04-01-2012

Scout Section Calder District Camping Competition 21st – 22nd April 2012 

The 2012 Calder District Camping Competition will be held over two days at Avondyke Outdoor Centre on 21st- 22nd April 2012.

The competition will be judged by an independent team from SHQ Active Support. 

The Scouts are expected to show initiative and skill but adult support is always at hand. Experience has shown that patrols of even the youngest Scouts can cope very well with this competition. Camping competitions include nearly all the elements of good Scouting so do not let the kids miss an opportunity.

Groups may apply to enter up to two patrols, subject to the rules. In the event that the number of patrols applying to enter, in the view of the organisers, makes the competition unmanageable then this will be reduced to one patrol per Group.
