Welcome to Calder District Scouts

Calder Scout District was formed in 2008 with the amalgamation of the old Motherwell and Monklands Scout Districts. The new district provides access to Scouting for all young people aged 6 to 25 of every faith and background in the North Lanarkshire area. We currently have 14 Scout groups and 2 District Explorer sections as well as a Scout Network.

At present we have almost 500 youth members (aged 6yrs to 25yrs) and more than 100 Adult leaders or volunteers.
